Program Description: Sequent's goal is to provide superior risk adjusted returns through the analysis of global macro and micro economic factors, governmental policies and political and economic events to trade world financial and natural resource markets. The econometric models used are always based on historically observed fundamental market relationships. Computers, mathematics, and statistics are used only as a means of quantifying these concepts into trading models. Each model is derived from a rigorous, quantitative study of historical market data to develop proprietary leading indicators of impending market movements. Technical trading strategies are then used to align the portfolio's futures interest contracts in the market's anticipated price direction to generate returns. Sequent believes that its unique fundamental market analysis gives it a comparative advantage for achieving more quantifiable, repeatable results over time.
