Program Description: Lawless Commodities believes that one of the most important aspects of trading commodities is to determine whether the current market is a trading market or a trending market. If the market is a trading market, then they will attempt to sell rallies and buy breaks with loose stop-loss orders. If the market is a trending bull market, they will attempt to buy both rallies and setbacks early on using close stops and bringing these stops up quickly behind the market. This technique allows them to enter a relatively large number of contracts while risking a relatively small amount based on the position of the stops. Lawless will use fundamental analysis to provide them with a preconceived idea as to whether the current market is a trading market or a trending market and then trade according to those assumptions. When Lawless feels that they are in sync with the market, the will tend to trade more aggressively using close stops to take advantage of the situation while still controlling risk.
