Program Description: ITA BVBA’s approach is quantitative in nature. They feel that the only way to survive in, and eventually extract profits from, a volatile and high-risk environment as the derivatives markets, is to use a consistent, disciplined, historically validated quantitative approach with emphasis on risk control. All trading models are 100% technical and computerized, and no trading discretion whatsoever is allowed for. ITA believes this enhances the required trading discipline (e.g. for closing out losing positions at pre-defined levels). Risks are inherent in most (if not all) financial and other investments. The nature of an investment in Managed Futures is such that, in case of unfavorable market conditions, the account can be subjected to substantial drawdowns. The historical validation of trading, portfolio composition and risk management concepts by ITA BVBA in managing its Programs are used in order to increase the probability of long-term success.
