The commodity contracts in which Di Tomasso Group will invest pursuant to the Equilibrium Trading Program will consist primarily of commodity futures and options generally restricted to tangible commodities such as grains, meats, metals, energy products and soft commodities. In their Turbo program S&P’s are also traded. Di Tomasso believes that Commodity Trading Programs will be profitable because of the following two fundamental and distinctive characteristics. 1) Di Tomasso has a longer-term, value-oriented perspective which allows it to calculate the intrinsic value of a commodity and identify those with the most under- or over-valued which offer the most profit potential. 2) The implementation of a sound trading strategy which enables Di Tomasso to translate the mispricing of these commodities and stocks into profits by: a) utilizing option valuation models to determine which options to trade, b)disciplined execution to minimize option decay, c) the imposition of rigorous risk control and management.
