Discretionary trading approach employs fundamental analysis through exercise of professional judgment regarding external forces such as supply and demand, economic factors, political analysis and interest rates utilizes technical analysis to help identify price trends and gauge market sentiment. Trades primarily in agricultural markets corn, wheat, soybean complex, cattle, lean hogs while monitoring related energy, financial and currency market sectors. Discretionary approach, based on the Advisor’s judgment, focused on fundamental analysis of U.S. and international economic factors, monetary policies, weather changes, interest rates and other events. Utilizes spread trading (simultaneous purchase and sale of futures contracts, typically in differing expiration months) and options to capitalize on price moves and profit opportunities, particularly in agricultural commodities. Numerous quantitative and qualitative factors, together with proprietary analytical techniques considered in researching the cash and futures markets to generate trading information and ideas.
