Program Description: At the heart of Beach Capital Management Ltd. is a disciplined, systematic trading program based on pattern recognition that focuses on key sectors; reduction of risk, preservation of capital, anticipation of key technical levels, refinement of gearing and trade entry/exit levels and re-assessment of portfolio exposure. The basis of the trading program is fully systemized, based on a number of unique chart patterns developed and defined by David Beach. These patterns act as a complete approach to describing how a market is likely to behave. They are of medium term duration and their aim is to identify the periods where trends either begin or end. Successful trends last at least twelve weeks and anything up to a year. The investment procedure begins with daily scanning of a wide range of futures, cash and forward markets (over 70 markets covering stocks, bonds, interest rates, currencies, and commodities).
