The Macro Strategic Allocation Portfolio is a global macro program that allocates assets to a diversified portfolio. The Portfolio seeks to generate signifcant returns on a risk adjusted basis through its allocations to a broadly diversified portfolio of equity indices, currencies and futures from both a trend following and contrarian approach. The strategy allocates assets actively among Marathon's portfolios in order to exploit opportunities in different risk/reward characteristics and performance cycles of the individual portfolios.
