summary of hcc's trading approach
Discretionary & Systematic - Disciplined, consistent, quantitative trading strategies designed to maximize trading opportunities in volatile daily markets while removing emotion from the decision making process. Utilizing market driven indicators to identify pre-defined trading opportunities for each trading session.
No Overnight Positions - The Program is designed to profit from specific daily market behavior. Positions held may be as short as one hour or as long as the market is open. Positions are never held overnight. All positions are offset by 3:15 pm CST.
Low-Correlation - In comparison to other CTAs and overall markets, HCC’s program seeks low-correlation characteristics to potentially reduced overall portfolio risk. The inherent value of our program lies in the non-correlating attributes to traditional investment strategies
Research and Development - A focus on research and development ensures that HCC’s Program is growing with changing market conditions. New and modified strategies are continually evaluated to ensure that the Program is operating to maintain appropriate risk managment.
